First-party subdomain

One CNAME → beat ad-blockers and the Safari/iOS limit.

On a subdomain of your site, tracking becomes 100% first-party → captures more conversions.

  1. Add a CNAME in DNS: oa.yoursite.com → app.optimads.ai. Pick a neutral name: track, pixel, ads, analytics are often blocked by ad blockers.
  2. On Cloudflare, the record must use the grey cloud (“DNS only”), not orange — otherwise verification fails.
  3. In Tracking → Custom domain, enter the subdomain and click Verify & enable.
  4. We issue the SSL automatically when you verify.
DNS propagation takes minutes (up to 24-48h). The benefit is biggest on generic/WordPress sites.
